Her Story
About Alysia
I've been in my field for 16 years, starting in healthcare before taking a leap of faith in 2010 to open a marketing company. I began publishing my own children's books and getting myself featured in newspapers and on the news, which led people to ask how I was getting all over the place. I started helping indie artists, musicians, and models get in front of newsworthy venues at no charge, until someone told me I was selling myself short by not charging. I launched The Rendezvous Show Inc. as an S-Corp, and within three years we were featuring celebrities, small businesses, and restaurants on major news networks. We went on FM radio, became AM radio hosts, and started doing TV podcasts and Zoom podcasts before anybody else was doing them. In 2018, my husband said I was ready for real estate, and I hit it out of the park. Within six months I became a top producer on Long Island, and within a year and a half I was already top producing and outshined my broker. I was featured as one of the top women of 2020 during the pandemic. In 2022, my husband retired from the New York City Fire Department and we moved to South Carolina. I'm now the top 1% in Myrtle Beach, cap at 100% every year, and was just featured on the front cover of Real Producers Magazine. MSN.com voted me the top 10 entrepreneurs to follow for 2026. I took all my marketing and branding skills that I was using towards other people and put it into houses. I decided to give back by continuing my podcast, The Rendezvous with Alicia, and launching Realtors in RVs where I take the show on the road to RV parks and interview other industry professionals to let them shine instead of me shining on my own. I'm also launching a home line and jewelry line, and I give back to charity big time through my own charity called Cans and Crayons.

Ten minutes with Alysia
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to consistency and the support of my husband who pushes me. Whether you're losing weight, studying for exams, or anything, consistency is key. I got to where I was because my husband pushed me, and I use social media effectively. You can't do something once and then blame everything else for failing - you weren't consistent. If you're going to set a goal to do something, you have to do it at the exact time, the exact day, staying consistent no matter how tired or burnt out you get. Take a step back, breathe, do a little meditation, and then get right back to it the next day. Don't give up and stay consistent, because that's where success is. I can throw a thousand shiny objects at you, but you will make the one shiny when you stay consistent on the path that you are moving toward. Coming from a structured military family background where we get up at 4am, make the bed, and keep it moving every single day like a drill sergeant - my whole family is like this, very rigid, very focused. We're four generations of military, I'm married to a first responder, and I think him pushing me, he pushes me more than my education or my certification.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received was when somebody once said to me, 'You're selling yourself short by not charging. You're not a charity, you need this money, you need to start helping people.' I had been helping indie artists, musicians, and models get themselves in front of newsworthy venues at no charge, and this advice made me realize I needed to value my work and start my own business. That's when I started with a DBA and eventually launched an S-Corp called The Rendezvous Show Inc.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice is consistency - it's key whether you're losing weight, studying for exams, or anything. You can't do something on Mondays, do it once, and then nobody ever sees you again, and then blame everything else for failing. No, you weren't consistent. If you're going to set a goal to do something, you have to do it at the exact time, the exact day - you have to stay consistent. I don't care how tired you get, I don't care how burnt out you get, take a step back, breathe, do a little meditation, and then get right back to it the next day. Do not give up and stay consistent, because that's where success is. I can throw a thousand shiny objects at you, and you can chase any one of them, but you will make the one shiny when you stay consistent on the path that you are moving toward. You can't do it one day and then be like 'it didn't work' - yeah, because you gave up. Also, use social media effectively. I actually teach classes for free on how to get your business to the next level using social media.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are giving back and helping others succeed. I decided to give back by launching Realtors in RVs where I take the focus off me and focus on other agents and industry professionals, letting them shine instead of me shining on my own. I wanted to share that light with so many other people that I see that are up and coming. It makes me feel so good that I'm part of other people winning - when realtors come on and tell me somebody noticed them or they got a client because of it, I'm loving it. I also believe strongly in supporting children through my charity Cans and Crayons, which I founded on the mission that no child should ever be hungry or without the means to create. I feel that if we give children full bellies and a means to create through art supplies instead of pushing them onto iPads and video games, we will bring up a generation of entrepreneurs, dream catchers, and go-getters. I give back to charity big time, and I teach free classes on how to get your business to the next level using social media. Coming from a military family with four generations of service and being married to a first responder, I value structure, focus, and discipline - getting up at 4am, making your bed, keeping it moving every single day.
