Angeles "Angie" Godinez
Angie Godinez is an accomplished international business specialist and executive leader serving as Vice President of Patient Experience and Administration at bioXcellerator in Scottsdale, Arizona. With more than nine years in the biotech and regenerative medicine space, she oversees the entire patient journey—from initial consultation through post-treatment follow-up—while leading administrative strategy, operational controls, and team development. Her leadership is centered on enhancing patient care, optimizing systems, and aligning organizational initiatives with bioXcellerator’s pioneering mission in stem cell therapy and medical innovation.
Drawing from a multidisciplinary background in marketing, finance, accounting, customer service, and technology, Angie brings both analytical precision and creative strategy to her executive role. Prior to entering biotech, she built a strong foundation in operations, financial management, and marketing communications, including serving as a Senior Accountant and marketing leader across multiple organizations. She is a certified Marketing Strategy professional through Cornell University and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from University of Phoenix. A longtime Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor, she combines financial acumen with operational efficiency to drive measurable growth, improve internal processes, and communicate brand value effectively to global stakeholders. Fluent in English and Spanish, she fosters strong cross-cultural partnerships and transparent communication at every level.
Beyond operations, Angie is deeply committed to mentorship and servant leadership. She built and expanded the Patient Experience Department at bioXcellerator and takes pride in developing her team members both personally and professionally. Rather than viewing herself as a traditional supervisor, she leads as a mentor—encouraging continuous learning, accountability, and empowerment. Her dedication to excellence and impact has earned her recognition through selection for the Influential Women Network (2026 edition). Passionate about innovation, lifelong learning, and strategic empowerment, Angie remains focused on making meaningful change in healthcare while helping others grow and succeed.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to making a difference in someone's life. At the end of the day, what matters most to me is whether I was able to help someone see something in themselves. Right now, in this stage of my life, I'm focused on whether I actually made a difference for somebody else, with no personal gain for myself. I think I'm at the point where I'm helping someone reach their goals. I've had those mentors in my life, so I think it's time for me to give back. The biggest reward I get is seeing my team members grow as individuals, both personally and in business. I don't see myself as their supervisor but more of a mentor, and I always tell them, you will always leave with more knowledge from when you came in. For me, that's what I get as a reward.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Here's the thing, if I knew back then what I know now, I wouldn't let the fear of making those mistakes stop me from taking that next step. Don't let that fear hold you back.
