Ten minutes with Bridget
01What do you attribute your success to?
I would say the biggest thing has been the support of my family. I always felt supported in pursuing my goals, bolstered by their confidence that I could accomplish whatever set out to do. That unwavering support allowed me to tackle new challenges, and continue to pursue new opportunities for growth and development. They've just been my biggest fans, cheerleaders, and support system, and everything in between. I don't really have a specific mentor or one individual I can name. It's just been a constellation of people that I've met along the way who have contributed to making me the leader I am today. I think you take little bits from each person that gives you a new perspective on something, or a different way to look at things. They may give encouragement or constructive criticism or help open your eyes to opportunities you never considered and just shift your path in a slightly different direction this way or that way. Collectively, all those things help shape you over time and you learn to take the helpful pieces with you and discard the rest. I think it's important not to discount what anyone you meet along the way may contribute to your journey, because often the people you least expect to have a big impact on your future, may be the ones who teach you the most valuable lessons.
