Her Interview

Ten minutes with Crystal

01What do you attribute your success to?

“I attribute my success to relationship-building, consistency, genuinely caring about people and listening. I’ve always led with heart, stayed committed to growth, and focused on creating trust with both families and teams.”

I’ve never looked at this position as just sales — it’s helping people through one of the biggest transitions of their lives. When you lead with authenticity, consistency, and heart, success tends to follow.”

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

If someone’s opinion doesn’t help you grow, serve your goals, or improve your life—don’t let it take up space in your mind.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I feel like it’s okay not to have everything figured out right away. Life isn’t always about age, education, or having the perfect plan. Whether you’re a homemaker, a single parent, college student, or someone still trying to discover your path, you still have time. I believe it’s more about giving yourself the opportunity to explore different experiences and find what truly makes you happy. You may try a few different positions or career paths before finding the right fit, and that’s completely okay. Sometimes what you thought you wanted may not be what fulfills you in the long run. Take time to live, learn, travel and grow through new experiences, because finding what genuinely makes you happy is what matters most not a title or position your not satisfied with.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

It’s still an emotional, multi-decision process

Even with strong demand:

  • adult children, seniors, financial advisors and physicians all influence decisions
  • guilt, fear, and timing delays still slow conversions

You’re not just selling a move-in—you’re guiding a family decision under stress and most do not like change.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

  • Service-first mindset
  • “I believe success in senior living comes from truly serving families, not just closing sales.”
  • Trust-building over transactions
  • “Long-term relationships matter more than short-term wins.”
  • Excellence in execution
  • “Details matter—follow-up, communication, and consistency separate top performers.”
  • Ownership mentality
  • “If something needs to be fixed, I take responsibility to move it forward.”
  • Collaboration
  • “Sales works best when marketing, operations, and care teams are aligned.”
