About Dionne

Dionne Holder is a community builder, connector, and strategic partnerships leader with more than 20 years of global experience across corporate events, experiential marketing, and women’s health innovation. Born in Barbados and professionally shaped across Beijing, Paris, and San Francisco, she has built her career around creating meaningful connections, leading high-performing teams, and delivering complex, multi-market programs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international politics from Peking University and a master’s degree in business communication and branding from Paris ESLSCA Business School.

Throughout her career, Dionne has held senior leadership roles in the global events and experiential industry, including positions at Freeman Company, Jack Morton Worldwide, and VOK DAMS Agency for Events and Live-Marketing. She has led large-scale international teams, including building and scaling Freeman’s China operations and overseeing 100+ employees across multiple offices. Her work is defined by operational excellence, cross-cultural leadership, and a deep ability to align strategy with execution in fast-moving global environments.

In addition to her consulting and partnership work, Dionne is the Owner of Vibe Forward, a personal style and empowerment practice that helps individuals align their outward expression with their inner identity. She also serves in strategic roles within women’s health, including work with HeraMED Limited, where she focuses on expanding access to remote maternal care solutions. Alongside her professional ventures, she contributes as a board member and community advocate supporting children, education, arts, and economic empowerment. Across all her work, she is driven by one core mission: building connections that help people feel seen, supported, and empowered to step fully into who they are.

Ten minutes with Dionne

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of optimism, courage, and a grounded sense of realism. I tend to focus on what needs to be done rather than worrying about external opinions, and I invest my full effort into whatever I take on. I also have a strong sense of self-confidence and trust that things will ultimately work out as long as I stay committed and adaptable. I describe myself as a grounded optimist—I aim to maintain a positive outlook while also preparing practical alternatives when outcomes don’t go as planned. That balance between positivity, bravery, and realism has been central to my success.
