What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to not be afraid to try something new. Stepping outside of my comfort zone has opened doors to growth, new skills, and opportunities I may not have discovered otherwise.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women entering the industry to never be afraid to ask questions or seek guidance. Asking for help, clarification, or feedback is a strength—it accelerates learning, builds confidence, and helps you grow both personally and professionally.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Accounting is shifting from manual processing to technology-enabled, judgment-heavy, advisory work — but the transition is happening while teams are understaffed and still responsible for flawless compliance.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me most are a strong commitment to doing good in everything I do and a genuine desire to keep learning. Whether at work or in my personal life, I strive to approach challenges with integrity, curiosity, and a mindset of continuous growth.
