Her Story
About Isabella
I've been working in film, activism, and organizing for about 7 years. I started the Me Too Teen Project, which is an online platform for youth and young adults to submit messages of hope and healing and advice, and primarily to submit their sexual assault stories and read others' stories. The mission is for people to be able to make the first step of validating themselves and submitting a story, but to also read these stories and know that you're not alone. These stories have been seen from across the U.S., in all 50 states, every continent, and most countries. From there, I started doing fundraising for sexual assault organizations across the U.S. as well as locally in Colorado. I eventually started doing in-person interviews and started making my documentary, originally just in Colorado, but then started traveling across the U.S. and interviewed over 80 individuals, mostly young adults and teens, as well as a few experts. One of our experts in the film is Annie Farmer, who is a survivor of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. That led me to where I am now, which is working with an Academy-nominated production company and now working as a producer on 3 other films. I also serve as a program director at the YWCA Colorado.
