Mackenzie Murphy is a dedicated higher education professional currently serving as the Director of Admissions at the University of New Hampshire-Manchester. With a strong background in enrollment and student services, Mackenzie has held various leadership roles at Nashua Community College, where she steadily progressed from Enrollment Specialist to Admissions & Enrollment Supervisor. Her passion for education, combined with a deep commitment to community engagement, is reflected in her ongoing work as a Direct Service Provider and her extensive volunteer contributions, including judging for the Miss Manchester Competition and serving on several educational and civic committees.

A proud alumna of UNH Online with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Mackenzie is also pursuing a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration at New England College. Her service on the University System of New Hampshire Board of Trustees as both a student and alumni representative showcases her long-standing dedication to the advancement of public education. Known for her inspiring leadership and ability to connect with students of all backgrounds, Mackenzie continues to make a lasting impact by empowering others through access, advocacy, and opportunity.

My advice to young women entering this industry is to be a team player, support your peers, speak up with confidence, and strive to help others every single day.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is finding creative and effective ways to promote our school and its activities, while continuously improving how Admissions operates to better serve students.
