Her Story
About Pamela
I’m Pamela Therrien. At my core, I’m someone who believes in doing things with care. I’m drawn to work that feels steady and honest, work that allows room for warmth, imperfection, and real life. Creating is how I make sense of the world—through food, shared spaces, and the simple act of offering something made with intention.
I value depth over speed and presence over performance. Much of what I’ve learned has come from slowing down, paying attention, and allowing myself to grow through experience rather than certainty. I try to lead my life in a way that reflects those lessons—thoughtfully, gently, and with respect for the paths others are walking.
I care deeply about the quiet things: trust, belonging, and the feeling of being safe enough to exhale. When I create space for others, it’s because I know how much those moments matter. They shape us more than we realize.

Ten minutes with Pamela
01What do you attribute your success to?
My faith has been the foundation of everything I’ve accomplished. I trust that God is leading me, even when the path isn’t clear, and that trust gives me the courage to take risks and the patience to persevere. I’ve learned to rely on guidance, to listen carefully, and to act with intention. While my work and effort matter, I truly believe the success I’ve experienced is the result of walking in faith and staying open to where I am being led.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
"Nothing is impossible with the right attitude and enough courage"
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to stay true to yourself and lead with integrity. Work hard, be curious, and don’t be afraid to ask questions or make mistakes—they are how you learn and grow. Trust the process, trust your instincts, and let your faith guide your decisions. Remember that success isn’t just about what you accomplish, but about the people you lift up and the spaces you create along the way.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest challenges in our industry right now is navigating sustainability—both in business operations and in personal energy. Small businesses are facing rising costs, shifting consumer expectations, and the demand to stay relevant in a fast‑paced environment. It can be difficult to balance quality, community connection, and financial stability all at once.
Another challenge is maintaining authenticity. In a world that often rewards the loudest voices and the fastest growth, it takes discipline and intentionality to build with heart, steadily and honestly, without losing sight of your core values.
Finally, many women in this space face the tension of carrying multiple roles—leader, caregiver, creator—and learning how to hold that with grace without burning out.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me are honesty, care, and presence. I try to approach both my work and my life with intention, showing up fully for the people and projects I care about. I want the spaces I create—whether at home, in business, or in community—to feel safe, welcoming, and grounded.
My faith is at the center of how I live. It reminds me to stay humble, to trust the path even when it isn’t clear, and to lean on guidance beyond myself. Gratitude and patience help me navigate challenges, celebrate small victories, and appreciate the journey rather than just the destination.
I also value connection and service—the quiet ways we can lift others, support growth, and leave a gentle, positive mark on the world. For me, living and working with these values isn’t about recognition; it’s about creating spaces where people feel seen, understood, and at home.
