She is the CEO and Founder of Try Again Services, a life coaching organization designed to provide strategic guidance, emotional support, and practical tools for both personal and professional growth. Through her work, Raniesha equips individuals to move beyond limitations, embrace clarity, and pursue their goals with confidence and resilience. Currently pursuing licensure in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Raniesha continues to expand her impact across education, counseling, and community service. She is academically prepared through her graduate studies in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling at Walden University and holds a background in Birth–Kindergarten Early Childhood Education from Fayetteville State University. As a school counselor at an alternative middle school, Raniesha serves a unique and diverse student population, where she plays a pivotal role in both academic and social-emotional development. In this capacity, she provides individualized counseling focused on developing healthy coping strategies, leads group sessions centered on social-emotional learning and academic goal setting, collaborates with administration on class scheduling, and facilitates parent and student orientation for new students. She partners closely with the school social worker to support students navigating additional community resources. Utilizing platforms such as Major Clarity, she guides students through personality assessments and career exploration activities, helping them identify clear pathways toward future success. The most rewarding aspect of her work is witnessing transformation—seeing students choose healthier paths, strengthen communication skills, advocate for themselves, and redefine their futures. Beyond education, Raniesha is deeply committed to her coaching practice. Through Try Again Services, she offers personalized coaching packages—ranging from single sessions to comprehensive six- and twelve-session programs—tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. She supports individuals who feel uncertain about their direction, helps single mothers establish structure and stability, guides newly married couples as they transition into marriage, and provides coaching in time management, goal execution, business development, and self-confidence. Rooted in her faith and fueled by her love for family and community, Raniesha’s mission is clear: to help others rise above setbacks, reclaim their identity, and boldly step into the best version of themselves. She encourages every client to keep moving forward, to believe again, and most importantly—to try again.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute much of my success to the unwavering support of my husband, who has stood beside me every step of the way. During the season in which I was completing my master’s degree and fulfilling the requirements of four internships, I was unable to work. Throughout that time, he faithfully carried the responsibility as our sole provider—without complaint—ensuring that I had the stability and encouragement needed to complete my education. His sacrifice and belief in me made it possible for me to reach that milestone. Today, I am intentional about reciprocating that same level of support, honoring the partnership that carried us through one of our most challenging seasons. In addition to my professional journey, I am a proud wife and mother to a beautifully blended family of five children—three of my own and one beautiful bonus daughter—ranging in age from 1 to 17. When I am not serving others through my work, I am fully present with my family, striving to balance quality time with my children while nurturing my marriage. For me, success is rooted in teamwork, mutual support, and shared vision. God and my family are my foundation, my motivation, and the heart behind everything I do

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is that I can build a career I genuinely love—one that allows me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others—while also creating and growing a successful business of my own. This belief has shaped every professional decision I’ve made. It has guided me to pursue opportunities aligned with my passions, values, and long-term vision rather than chasing traditional definitions of success. Because of this mindset, I remain purposeful in my work, confident in my calling, and innovative in how I continue to develop both my career and my entrepreneurial goals.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The advice I would give to young women entering my industry is simple yet powerful: believe in yourself, stay persistent, and never give up on your goals. Challenges are inevitable, but resilience, confidence, and determination will carry you through even the most difficult moments. There will be seasons of uncertainty, but those seasons are often where the greatest growth happens. Surround yourself with supportive mentors who challenge and uplift you. Commit to continuous learning, remain open to growth, and keep pushing forward—even when the path isn’t perfectly clear. You are capable. You are qualified. And you absolutely can do it. Stay focused, stay motivated, and keep moving boldly toward your dreams.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The greatest challenge—and opportunity—in my field is balancing the many roles I am deeply passionate about while continuing to grow both professionally and personally. Managing my life coaching business, serving as a school counselor, and fulfilling my responsibilities as a wife and mother requires intentional organization, discipline, and consistent self-care. Yet within that challenge lies tremendous opportunity. These roles allow me to serve others from a place of authenticity, inspire those I work with, and demonstrate that it is possible to pursue meaningful career goals while maintaining a fulfilling personal life. I firmly believe in setting healthy boundaries, staying aligned with my priorities, and modeling resilience and balance for the individuals and families I support. By doing so, I not only sustain my own growth but also empower others to believe they can create harmony between their ambitions and their personal lives.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide both my professional and personal life center on making a meaningful difference, serving with compassion, and remaining deeply committed to my family. In my work, I strive to support students in ways that build confidence and readiness for success. Whether I am encouraging them emotionally or ensuring they have practical needs met—such as access to proper school uniforms—I am committed to helping every child feel prepared, valued, and capable. At home, my husband and children are my greatest source of motivation and purpose. They inspire the work I do and remind me daily why service, integrity, and balance matter. I value kindness, dedication, hard work, and creating environments—both in my community and in my home—where others feel supported, empowered, and able to thrive.
