Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my Parents, my mom, who is the most resilient woman I know. She earned her degree after raising four children, showing me the power of determination, hard work, and perseverance. Her example inspires me every day to push forward, work diligently, and strive to create a better world for those around me. My dad for his values and perseverance in making sure I pursued my dreams no matter how hard it may have seemed, and his support towards making me a better version of myself every day.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my high school headmaster: 'Character defines destiny'.This mainly means your core values, habits, and choices build who you are, ultimately shaping your life's path rather than external forces controlling your fate. This lesson has guided me in every aspect of my life, reminding me that respect, empathy, and integrity shape not only my relationships but also the opportunities and impact I create along the way. How I treat people around me and approach every situation will affect how my future path is shaped.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to believe in your dreams—they are never as big as they may seem—and to have the courage to pursue them. Confidence, persistence, and a willingness to take bold steps are essential to turning aspirations into meaningful impact.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is navigating issues of time, access to people overseas, and financial constraints. Finding innovative ways to collaborate across borders, manage resources efficiently, and maximize impact despite these limitations is essential. These challenges also present opportunities to develop creative solutions and expand global engagement.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, honesty, and authenticity. I strive to give my all in everything I do, approaching each task with passion while staying true to myself and my principles. These values guide how I interact with others, make decisions, and pursue my goals.
