Valerie Niver

Valerie Niver is a dedicated and results-driven Branch Manager at Texas First Rentals in Pflugerville, Texas. Originally from a small town outside Buffalo, New York, Valerie grew up with a strong work ethic (and a love for the Buffalo Bills) that has shaped her career in customer service, operations, and leadership. After earning her Associate’s Degree in Communications from Erie Community College, she began her professional journey with AT&T, where she quickly became one of the top-performing sales consultants in her district. Her consistent ranking in the top 5 for over five years speaks to her natural ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Following roles at Upshur Rural Electric and Verizon, Valerie transitioned into the equipment rental industry with Texas First Rentals. Her rise from Service Writer to Operations Manager, and now Branch Manager, has been marked by her talent for turning around underperforming branches and building cohesive, high-functioning teams. Valerie has received two Branch of the Quarter awards—an accomplishment that reflects her commitment to operational excellence and strong leadership. With a focus on transparency, honesty, and continuous improvement, Valerie empowers those around her and leads by example in a male-dominated field. She’s passionate about mentoring others, especially women entering the industry, and believes that asking questions and keeping an open mind are key to long-term success.
