Lee & I met at a "Special Olympics" event. The Ronald McDonald House young people came toward the end with platters of burgers & fries. Lee leaned over & said "I'm R.M - Feed me". & there was an instant connection.
I met one of my close friends at a music venue. She was at a venue called Fête Music Hall where we both frequently saw local bands. Tiffany has always watched out for me there and in life for the past 8 years. To this day she tells me how proud she is of me.
I found that the key to building adult friendships is finding people where we help each other through life's shared challenges and goals. Supporting one another builds trust and turns casual connections into meaningful, lasting bonds.
