The Cause She Could No Longer Ignore

The issue that transformed concern into involvement.

Quote Anamia Frias, Freelance Production Assistant on Influential Women

How I did it I feel as a woman when you're at the most vulnerable moment for me was having a baby, postpartum depression, and on top of that Covid had just came, which I feel was a blessing for us undercover creators. This was a time to build your brand, listen to the people in the industry that were available to speak and gave a lot of intake on how to become successful. For me that was my moment when I broke out of that depression and started filming and creating my very successful short RUN. Don't get stuck, keep pushing, we all have different stories to tell.

Quote Theresa Hedrick-Hopkins, PhD, Founder and Executive Director on Influential Women

I could no longer stand on the sidelines while people who dedicated their lives to serving others quietly carried burnout, grief, and emotional exhaustion alone. It became personal when I recognized how often strength was mistaken for silence. I chose to get involved by creating spaces where people could be seen, supported, and reminded that asking for help is an act of courage, not weakness.
